Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support a customer experience function with insights that strengthen service performance, on-time delivery, and overall operational effectiveness. This is a business-facing analytics role that blends strong technical ability in Power BI, Excel, ERP, and CRM tools with the communication and commercial understanding needed to shape decisions.
Employment Terms
- This is a direct-hire opportunity.
- Only local candidates will be considered.
- The role is fully onsite in Irvine, California.
- Independent contractors, corp-to-corp arrangements, and third-party staffing submissions are not being considered.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $35.00 to $42.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Annual discretionary bonus is included.
- Benefits are provided.
- Three weeks of paid time off are offered.
What You'll Do
- Review customer service and fulfillment data, including order completion, backlog levels, on-time delivery, queue performance, and expedite activity.
- Spot patterns in the data and turn them into practical recommendations.
- Check data accuracy and confirm that source information is reliable.
- Create and update dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Prepare both scheduled and ad hoc insights for leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Improve reporting outputs over time and identify missing metrics or analysis opportunities.
- Track backlog and delivery risks, then raise concerns early with suggested mitigation steps.
- Work closely with customer experience, sales, and operations teams.
- Build a clear understanding of the full order lifecycle from entry through reporting.
- Respond to leadership requests for reporting and analysis.
- Proactively surface new trends, useful metrics, and process improvement ideas.
- Recommend dashboard enhancements and workflow improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in data analytics or a closely related position.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms, ideally SAP, and CRM systems.
- Strong analytical judgment, attention to data quality, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to explain findings clearly and question assumptions when needed.
- Experience working with data tied to customer service, sales, or order management.
