Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

Role Overview

Alalameya Group is looking for a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to strengthen its security operations function. The role is centered on watching for threats, identifying suspicious activity, and handling the first phase of incident response in client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep track of security alerts and event activity across client systems and environments.
• Assist with early-stage analysis and containment actions for cybersecurity incidents.
• Use and oversee security tools such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Evaluate incidents, assign priority, and route them to the appropriate teams when escalation is needed.
• Compile daily and weekly updates covering security events, incidents, and operational work.
• Work in line with established SOPs and internal security procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Background in a Security Operations Center or in cybersecurity operations is required.
• Understanding of security monitoring, log review, and incident handling practices.
• Solid knowledge of networking basics, operating systems, and core cybersecurity principles.
• Hands-on exposure to SIEM, EDR, firewall, or vulnerability management solutions is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, or similar credentials are strongly valued.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills in English; Arabic will be an added advantage.

Location

The role is based in Jubail Industrial City, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
