Job Overview

This role is responsible for keeping assigned spaces clean, orderly, and presentable. The position involves using approved tools and equipment, following cleaning instructions, and moving or repositioning furniture and equipment as needed.

Key Duties

• Remove wrappers, broken glass, ashtrays, and other debris from floors.
• Clean and dust slot machines, including the spaces between machines, doors, and wood trim.
• Eliminate scuff marks and beverage spills.
• Preserve high standards of cleanliness across the casino floor, public spaces, offices, restrooms, and other designated areas.
• Use professional floor-care equipment and specialized cleaning machines.
• Handle and clean biohazardous materials when required.
• Observe safety rules and use personal protective equipment correctly.
• Notify the supervisor about maintenance concerns in work areas or with equipment.
• Carry out other assigned, job-related tasks.
• Use ladders safely up to 10 feet.
• Push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.

Qualifications

Candidates should be at least 21 years old and able to communicate with others in a friendly, positive, and courteous way. Comfort working around chemicals, cleaners, and solvents is required. Prior experience using professional cleaning equipment is preferred, along with familiarity with different floor surfaces and the methods used to clean them. Ability to operate high-dusting equipment is also expected. Certification to operate a scissor lift and high boom is preferred. The role may involve using equipment such as a backpack vacuum, scissor lift, high boom, power washer, and similar tools.
