About the Role

We are seeking a Creator & Content Policy Manager to develop and implement robust governance strategies for the TikTok Local Services Creator and Content ecosystem. This role involves analyzing data and user feedback to formulate effective policies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing risks while supporting creator and business growth. You will be instrumental in establishing a comprehensive governance framework across the entire creator lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and ensuring the health and fairness of the ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute governance strategies to ensure the integrity and health of the Creator and Content ecosystem within TikTok Local Services.
  • Analyze data and user feedback to identify issues, formulate targeted governance strategies, and collaborate with Algorithm, Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to implement enhancements.
  • Establish policies addressing regulatory, compliance, cultural, and promotional aspects of creators and content, mitigating risks and ensuring ecosystem quality.
  • Create a lifecycle governance system for creators, focusing on onboarding, offboarding, benefit controls, fund management, and account health to foster a fair and orderly environment.
  • Balance risk management with the enablement of growth for legitimate creators and businesses by understanding their challenges and implementing supportive strategies.
  • Monitor ecosystem health through data analysis and investigations, responding to emergencies and conducting ad-hoc reviews as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data-driven governance and experience programs within O2O, Local Services, E-commerce, strategy consulting, operations management, content risks, or trust and safety initiatives.
