The Opportunity

PadSplit is looking for a Creative Director to turn creative into a key growth driver for the business. In this role, you will shape the brand, guide the creative function, and build a scalable creative system that strengthens trust, supports acquisition, and contributes to measurable business outcomes. The work will touch national marketing, social media, and the everyday brand experience of members, hosts, and partners.

You should be comfortable leading people, using AI and modern creative tools, and balancing strong brand storytelling with performance-focused marketing. You’ll need the confidence to present strategy to senior leaders, coach designers through feedback, and step in personally when a challenge needs direct problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve PadSplit’s creative direction across all customer interactions, ensuring a clear and trustworthy brand experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow designers, contractors, and agency partners while staying involved in important creative work.
  • Work with Marketing to produce effective creative for paid media, organic content, lifecycle, email, social, and newer channels.
  • Create efficient creative workflows, production systems, quality benchmarks, and resourcing practices that support speed and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Growth, Legal, and Operations so creative input is considered early in major initiatives.
  • Own the visual identity, creative rules, messaging consistency, and brand reputation across channels.
  • Use customer research, feedback, and performance data to improve creative direction and messaging.
  • Track creative performance, run experiments, and use AI-enabled workflows to improve campaign results and creative output over time.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience leading brand, marketing, or creative teams, including at least 3 years managing creative talent.
  • A player-coach approach that combines leadership with hands-on creative strategy, review, and execution when needed.

Compensation and Benefits
