About the Role

Disney Entertainment Television (DET) brings together a wide range of acclaimed entertainment and news brands within The Walt Disney Company, serving the company’s streaming services, broadcast network, and cable channels. Corporate Communications Support

  • Assist the Corporate Communications team with research and project coordination across content, executive, and issues-focused communications.
  • Review media coverage and prepare concise summary briefs highlighting audience traction, recurring themes, and key narratives, including recaps of industry podcasts and newsletters.
  • Keep editorial and messaging trackers current for content and executive communications workstreams.
  • Track press and social channels for breaking developments, ongoing stories, industry updates, and emerging trends.
  • Work with partners across DET business units to keep messaging and content aligned.
  • Collect input from Strategic Communications leadership for weekly status updates and reports.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the Vice President, Communications.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in corporate communications, publicity, internal communications, or a related area, ideally in media or entertainment.
  • Strong capability in writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Sharp attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work on time.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in storytelling, media, and employee culture and engagement.

The hiring range for this role in California is USD 65,300 to 87,500 per year, based on a 40-hour work week. Weekly hours may change depending on business requirements.
