직무 설명

Overview

ACEREZ is the designated network operator for the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone, which is Australia’s first renewable energy zone and a major national infrastructure initiative. Its Maintenance and Lifecycle contractor is responsible for operating and maintaining the network assets over a 35-year period. The organisation is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join the Maintenance & Lifecycle team in Mudgee or the wider Central-West region.

Role purpose

This position plays a key part in helping the Maintenance & Lifecycle team handle a broad range of contractual commitments. Working with the Commercial Director, the Contracts Administrator will help safeguard contractual entitlements, surface risks and opportunities early, and keep the team commercially aware and compliant. The role also contributes to procurement and vendor management for goods and services needed to support Maintenance & Lifecycle delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Draft clear and accurate notices, letters and contractual records.
  • Track contract performance and compliance across all parties to protect both near-term and long-term interests.
  • Partner with the Commercial Director and wider team to build a common understanding of contract obligations.
  • Identify and help manage commercial risks, opportunities, rights and responsibilities in line with project agreements and internal policies.
  • Support the creation, writing and review of policies, procedures and management plans so they remain aligned with the Project Deed and M&L Contract.
  • Keep contract registers, variation logs and performance records up to date, including KPI and obligation tracking.
  • Help foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing team environment aligned with ACEREZ M&L values.
  • Support procurement and vendor administration by maintaining records, reviewing progress claims and assisting with supplier performance improvement.
  • Develop constructive working relationships with vendors and subcontractors to support on-time delivery and help resolve issues where needed.
  • Contribute ideas and support for ongoing improvements to contract administration systems and processes.

Skills and qualifications

A tertiary qualification in business, law, commerce or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have around 3 or more years of experience handling or administering contracts in major infrastructure, PPP or similarly complex contractual environments. A solid grasp of contract law and commercial risk is important, along with the ability to manage detailed documentation and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Additional requirements

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Exposure to ISO-aligned management systems is desirable.
  • Strong capability in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms, or a willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with document management tools such as RIB CX, Teambinder, Aconex or ProjectWeb, or a willingness to learn.
  • Valid NSW driver’s licence.

Key attributes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisation and reliable follow-through.
  • Commercial judgement with a practical approach to balancing risk, return and outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently while also knowing when to seek guidance and collaborate.
  • Influencing and leadership skills that help bring others along constructively.
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive culture.

Location and flexibility

  • Based in Mudgee, with hybrid working available.
  • Occasional travel to Sydney may be required.
  • Flexible working hours are available, and the role may potentially be part-time.
