About the Role
This position is focused on shaping and protecting the company’s public image through thoughtful communication planning, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement. The specialist will act as a key liaison for outside audiences such as media professionals, clients, industry partners, and the broader public.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain productive relationships with reporters, editors, and media organizations.
- Prepare, refine, and circulate press releases, media packs, and official company communications.
- Arrange and support press events, media sessions, and interview coordination.
- Track press exposure and compile regular media coverage summaries and insights.
- Create and roll out communication plans that support business and brand objectives.
- Oversee internal communication efforts so messaging remains aligned across teams.
- Develop response plans for crisis situations and represent the organization when needed.
- Write executive-level materials such as speeches, feature articles, newsletters, and briefing notes.
- Manage and expand the company’s presence on social media and digital channels.
- Produce attractive digital assets including social posts, infographics, and short videos.
- Measure communication performance through KPIs and engagement analytics.
- Work closely with marketing colleagues to ensure PR activity supports wider campaigns.
- Safeguard and strengthen brand reputation across all communication touchpoints.
- Monitor public opinion and address potential reputational issues early.
- Keep all outward-facing content consistent with the company’s values and tone.
- Coordinate with external PR agencies, service providers, and consultants.
- Lead internal awareness and engagement initiatives tied to corporate goals.
- Organize employee activations for occasions such as Saudi National Day, Eid, Safety Week, and Women’s Day.
- Create internal newsletters and assist with onboarding communication materials.
- Plan the company’s presence at regional and international exhibitions.
- Handle event logistics, booth branding, promotional items, and post-event reporting.
- Support internal town halls and external industry knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a comparable function.
- Demonstrated success in securing media coverage and managing campaigns.
- Prior exposure to crisis communications is considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency is an added benefit.
- Strong editorial sense and the ability to develop persuasive messaging.
- Familiarity with media monitoring platforms such as Meltwater, Cision, or Brandwatch.
- Good working knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and social media analytics.
- Ability to juggle several priorities at once and deliver under deadlines.
- Confident interpersonal skills and the ability to work with senior leaders.
