Position Overview
This full-time Cleaner role is based in Kingston, Ontario and covers an existing vacancy. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week and includes weekend shifts every second week. Compensation is listed as CAD 40,500 to 44,500 per year, including salary and shift premium.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will support the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of residential buildings and shared areas. Your work will help create a tidy and welcoming environment for residents and guests while following set cleaning procedures.
- Clean common areas such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, stairwells, laundry rooms, and amenity areas.
- Keep garbage and recycling rooms neat and properly maintained.
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Maintain elevators, lounges, laundry spaces, and fitness rooms.
- Prepare vacant tenant units for move-in, including cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, ovens, and refrigerators.
- Perform snow removal during winter as needed.
- Handle other related duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
Applicants should ideally have prior professional cleaning experience. You must be able to lift objects weighing up to 20 kg, such as garbage bags and cleaning tools. Dependability, strong attention to detail, and safe work habits are important. Good communication abilities and a strong customer-service mindset are also required.
