Role overview
Young Icons Sports Academy is hiring a highly organised and self-driven Business Operations Coordinator to help run and improve the company’s daily activities. This role works closely with the Director and spans operations, team coordination, administration, communication, finance, marketing, and business growth support.
The position is designed for someone eager to learn how a growing business functions, take responsibility for core tasks, and become an important part of the leadership team. Exceptional performance can lead to faster career advancement and stronger salary progression.
The job is mainly remote, but the selected candidate must be based in the UAE and be able to attend nurseries, schools, meetings, and other operational locations whenever needed.
Compensation and reporting
Salary is AED 3,000 to AED 5,000 per month, with the exact amount depending on experience and capability. The role reports directly to the Director.
Operations and systems
In this position, you will help oversee everyday business operations, maintain company systems and schedules, manage programme registrations, and keep operational records accurate and well-organised.
Staff and coach coordination
You will coordinate coach and staff availability, schedules, and operational updates, while also supporting onboarding, document handling, compliance-related follow-up, and completion of pending tasks.
Communication and administration
The role involves professional communication with parents, staff, nurseries, schools, and business partners. You will also handle daily communication through WhatsApp and email, and turn voice notes and instructions into clear actions and organised task lists.
Digital tools and AI
You should be confident using Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets for day-to-day work. The role also requires familiarity with ChatGPT and other AI tools to improve efficiency, along with Canva for creating and editing documents, presentations, marketing assets, and social media materials.
Finance and business support
You will assist with invoicing, payment monitoring, financial administration, and the maintenance of accurate business records. The role also supports proposals, lead tracking, and wider business development work.
Marketing and social media
You will support social media planning and management, produce branded content in Canva, and help with Instagram administration, post scheduling, and promotional campaigns.
Skills and requirements
The company is looking for someone with excellent written and spoken English, strong professional communication, excellent organisation, attention to detail, and solid computer skills. You should be able to work independently, prioritise multiple tasks, remain proactive and dependable, and quickly pick up new systems and processes.
Preferred background
Helpful experience includes advanced Canva and design ability, use of Gemini or other AI platforms, AI image-generation tools, social media management, staff scheduling, operational coordination, invoicing, payment tracking, and prior work in business operations or management. A UAE driving licence or an equivalent licence is also desirable.

This opportunity is aimed at someone ambitious, efficient, and ready for more than basic administrative work. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director, gain exposure to multiple parts of the business, and gradually take on greater ownership.
