Business Analyst

About the Role

This role is suited to a detail-focused Business Analyst who can review how the business operates, spot opportunities to improve, and help teams make decisions based on data. The position involves partnering with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and turning those needs into practical, actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess business requirements and convert them into clear, usable documentation
• Carry out research, map processes, and record workflows
• Detect gaps in systems or operations and suggest ways to improve them
• Work with teams across functions to help deliver projects successfully
• Build reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for leadership
• Review project results and check that they support overall business objectives
• Assist with data analysis and informed decision-making using relevant tools

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s qualification in Business, Economics, Information Technology, or a similar discipline
• At least 2 to 4 years of experience in a Business Analyst position or a closely related role
• Strong ability to analyze situations and solve problems effectively
• Hands-on experience in gathering requirements and preparing documentation
• Comfort using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-handling skills
• Capable of managing a busy workload and balancing several priorities at once

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Agile or Scrum ways of working
• Experience with structured process-improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Awareness of the software development life cycle
• Strong ability to create clear presentations and reports
