직무 설명
About the Role
We are hiring core team members for a neighbourhood café tea room and cocktail bar, as well as a Chinese bistro concept developed in collaboration with Xi Yan Private Dining Group and Moutai. The main workplace will be A Beautiful Day Café Tea Room, with occasional support duties at Fu Yan by OSG.
This opportunity is intended for someone who wants to build a career with the brand rather than simply take up a position. The role is suited to a person who enjoys hospitality, learns quickly, works well with others, and is ready to take on more responsibility over time.
Available Roles and Pay
- Full-time positions: Bartender, Bar Supervisor, or Management Trainee, with monthly pay ranging from $2,500 to $3,500 depending on experience, fit, learning pace, commitment, and the specific role.
- Regular part-time positions: Barista or Bartender, paid at $14 to $18 per hour depending on experience and commitment.
What the Job Involves
The role covers service in a warm café and bar environment built around food, tea, coffee, cocktails, and memorable guest experiences. It also includes exposure to a second concept that explores Chinese dining, tea, baijiu, cocktails, and a different style of hospitality.
You will work closely with the founder and owner-operator, so the right candidate should be able to follow direction, carry out tasks reliably, and gradually grow into greater responsibility.
What You’ll Learn
- Coffee service and beverage preparation
- Tea service and tea culture
- Cocktail creation and service
- Low-ABV and zero-proof drinks
- Chinese dining culture
- Guest experience and service standards
- Team leadership
- Day-to-day operations
Ideal Candidate Profile
The team is looking for someone who is approachable, warm, responsible, proactive, positive, and open to learning. A strong service mindset, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to take ownership are important. Prior experience in cafés, bars, service, coffee, tea, cocktails, or the wider F&B industry is helpful, but attitude is considered more important than direct experience.
Work Schedule and Benefits
- Work week of 5 to 6 days, depending on the role
- 2 meals provided
- Monthly incentives
- Standard employee benefits
- Training and career development
- Opportunity to progress into a management or core team position
- Potential pathway toward leadership and future partner-level responsibility for the right person
Culture
The team is intentionally kept small and focused. The work environment values humility, ambition, reliability, and kindness. The expectation is that team members care about the craft, the guests, and each other.
Eligibility
Only Singapore citizens and permanent residents may apply at this stage.
Application Instructions
Applicants should send a resume along with a brief introduction about themselves and why they want to grow with the team.
