About the Role
BIGGBY COFFEE in Frankfort, Indiana is looking for upbeat, dependable people to join the store team as baristas. This position is available in both full-time and part-time formats, depending on availability, and offers an energetic, team-oriented workplace where customer service and a positive attitude matter.
Schedule and Work Expectations
Candidates must be available for early morning shifts or evening shifts, and weekend availability is required. The role is not open to summer-only or seasonal applicants. Full-time and part-time hours are available based on scheduling needs.
Compensation and Benefits
This is an hourly position that also includes tips. Team members receive free drinks on every shift, regular employee discounts, flexible scheduling, and free uniforms.
Growth and Experience
Previous barista or leadership experience can be helpful, but it is not mandatory. Qualified candidates may also have access to leadership opportunities and advancement paths within the team.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and create a friendly first impression.
- Learn repeat customers' names and drink choices to deliver a personal experience.
- Respond to customer questions and ensure each visit feels positive and memorable.
- Accurately record orders, including coffee blend preferences, milk options, and flavor ratios.
- Prepare drinks according to store recipes and standards.
- Serve beverages and ready-to-eat items such as cookies, pastries, and muffins.
- Handle payments, including cash and credit card transactions.
- Keep the prep and service areas neat and organized.
- Track and replenish stock as needed.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene requirements.
