About the Role

Kleinsky’s is preparing to launch a new store in July and is searching for a dependable, hardworking baker to join the team. This position suits someone who enjoys baking, performs well in a busy kitchen, and can deliver consistent quality across all products.

The role focuses on preparing a variety of baked items, including bagels, babka, and rugelach, while also supporting daily kitchen preparation and keeping bakery tools and work areas in proper condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare baked goods in line with the day’s production targets.
• Use bakery equipment safely and ensure it is properly cared for.
• Accurately follow recipes, portion sizes, and production timings.
• Keep all work areas clean and maintain food safety standards throughout the shift.
• Support stock rotation and assist with managing ingredients.
• Work effectively during peak production and service periods.

Requirements

• Prior experience in baking or kitchen production is an advantage.
• Strong focus on detail and consistency.
• Willingness to work early-morning shifts.
• Reliable transport to the Atlantic Seaboard area.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays when needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift bakery stock and equipment.
