About the Role
The hotel is seeking an AV Technician to join the Engineering team. This position focuses on keeping audiovisual systems across the property operating properly, handling installation and setup, resolving technical issues, supporting events, and carrying out preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate brings solid technical ability and takes a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
Key Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of audiovisual equipment throughout the hotel.
- Set up AV systems for meetings, functions, and other events as needed.
- Diagnose and fix technical issues quickly to minimize disruption.
- Carry out regular preventive maintenance on AV hardware and related systems.
- Support the Engineering team in ensuring all audio visual services run reliably and smoothly.
Candidate Profile
The hotel is looking for someone with a relevant educational background, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to connect respectfully with guests. Experience in international luxury hotel environments is preferred, especially in roles that require flexibility across different cultures and standards. A willingness to keep learning, grow professionally, perform well under pressure, and communicate effectively in English is important.
