About the Role
Murphy & Co. Design is seeking an entry-level AutoCAD Technician & Visual Illustrator who is enthusiastic about learning and growing with the team. This role supports the creation of distinctive residential projects through precise construction documentation and engaging 3D visualizations. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys visual problem-solving, collaboration, and developing technical design skills in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
In this position, you will produce 3D renderings and assist with developing construction documents in AutoCAD while working under the direction of an AutoCAD Project Manager. You will contribute technical drawings for residential interiors and exteriors, join internal team meetings, and support 3D production as projects progress. The role is intended for someone who is ready to learn, contribute, and build a long-term career, with training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities available.
What You Bring
The team is looking for someone with a strong interest in creating accurate and thoughtful construction documents in AutoCAD, with mentoring available to help you grow. Interest or experience in Rhino 3D and Lumion for 3D visual work is valuable. You should be detail-oriented, committed to high-quality output, and able to work in a friendly, respectful, professional, and collaborative way. A team-first attitude, willingness to help wherever needed, strong communication and listening skills, and a basic understanding of construction technology, building systems, and 3D drawing development are also important.
