Role Overview
The Appointment Setter will be responsible for connecting with prospective customers, securing qualified meetings, and helping the sales team create new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to potential customers and leads through outbound phone calls.
- Present the company’s products or services in a clear, professional manner.
- Assess interest and determine which prospects are worth pursuing.
- Arrange meetings, appointments, or callback times for the sales team.
- Keep detailed and accurate notes of calls, conversations, and booked appointments.
- Conduct follow-ups with prospects who have expressed interest.
- Respond to basic questions about the company’s offerings.
- Work toward daily or weekly targets for calls made and appointments set.
- Communicate politely, professionally, and persuasively at all times.
Requirements
- Strong spoken communication skills.
- Good active listening and interpersonal abilities.
- Comfort and confidence when speaking to unfamiliar people by phone.
- Professional handling of rejection or objections.
- Basic computer literacy and careful record entry.
- Well-developed organization and time management skills.
- Experience in a call center, telesales, customer service, or appointment-setting role is an advantage.
- Self-driven, disciplined, and focused on targets.
