Role overview

The Customer Routing Analyst supports retail routing and customer compliance activities within the Planning and Scheduling Department and reports to the Manager, Customer Routing.

What you will do

  • Support key customer accounts by handling matters such as delayed carrier pickups and coordinating with sales teams on routing-related concerns.
  • Make sure routing and distribution activities follow each customer’s routing instructions for assigned accounts.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure products are received in the right order, taking account-specific routing needs, processing timelines, and order timing into consideration.
  • Keep routing tables current and maintain them on an ongoing basis.
  • Organize, update, and manage vendor routing guides.
  • Help DC Logistics Clerks handle customer-specific requirements before and after shipments are processed.
  • Use customer routing portals to process routes and communicate updates where needed.
  • Investigate and support resolution of shipping problems such as picking or packing mistakes, delays, misdirected freight, label problems, and chargebacks or penalties.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supply chain or similar environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Good problem-solving ability, with the capacity to collect and interpret information at a high level.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting information clearly and concisely to customers.
