Role overview
J&F is hiring an AI Agent Developer for its Chennai office. The role focuses on designing and building intelligent agent-based systems that can retain context, remember earlier interactions, and improve through feedback.
What you will do
- Develop AI agents that can preserve memory and context across conversations.
- Create feedback-driven loops so the system can learn and improve over time.
- Build retrieval-augmented generation workflows to connect models with domain-specific knowledge.
- Handle conversation flow, state management, and orchestration between tools and agents.
- Work with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, and open-source model services.
- Move quickly, release improvements frequently, and review performance on a weekly basis.
Skills and experience needed
- Strong programming ability in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or custom-built alternatives.
- Familiarity with vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or Qdrant.
- Ability to design prompts and evaluation workflows.
- Understanding of agent patterns such as ReAct and tool-based execution.
- Basic knowledge of Git, CI/CD processes, and containerization.
- Exposure to multi-agent systems, retrieval-augmented generation, LangGraph, and LoRA/QLoRA is relevant.
