Role overview
Join a warm and supportive retirement village team in Hobsonville, Auckland as an Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator. In this full-time position, you will help create memorable experiences and enrich daily life for residents in a vibrant community.
The role is scheduled Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. You must hold a full driver licence and be confident driving a manual van.
What you will do
- Design and deliver a varied programme of recreational, social, diversionary, and craft-based activities for residents.
- Support and participate in Happy Hour sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 5:00 pm.
- Help foster residents' happiness, wellbeing, and overall quality of life.
- Work alongside colleagues in a collaborative and supportive way.
What we are looking for
To succeed in this environment, you should bring empathy, strong communication skills, and a dependable, approachable, and professional attitude. Previous experience in aged care is preferred, though not essential.
