Accounts Executive - Payable

Job Summary

This role focuses on handling the full accounts payable cycle with accuracy, speed, and compliance. The position supports smooth vendor payments, strong supplier relationships, and solid financial controls by checking invoices, coordinating payments, and resolving mismatches with procurement, finance, and operations teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage invoice and bill processing for payables.
• Prepare cheques on time for settlements, loans, customs duty, and freight-related invoices.
• Issue cheques for sales returns, non-trade creditors such as advertising vendors, and petty cash needs across departments.
• Handle payments for rentals and utilities including Etisalat, DU, DEWA, and other property-related charges.
• Prepare telegraphic transfer payments for vendors.
• Support fixed asset purchase order preparation and asset capitalization/bookings.
• Record prepaid expenses and maintain related schedules.
• Process monthly payments for Bahrain and Qatar and coordinate with the relevant accounting teams.
• Check vendor ledgers and match account transactions against the general ledger.
• Prepare ageing analysis for creditors.
• Compile monthly MIS reports and send them to the Finance Manager.
• Prepare reports related to marketing expenses.
• Prepare reports for the director’s personal expenses.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounts is required.
• Experience in retail is preferred, though candidates from other industries may also be considered.
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics, especially for payables, payments, and payroll.

Compensation

The salary is AED 4,500 to AED 5,000 per month, all-inclusive.
