Role overview
Savoy Infratech is hiring an Accounts Executive to handle core day-to-day accounting activities in Guwahati, India. The role involves maintaining financial records, supporting statutory compliance, and ensuring transactions are recorded and reconciled accurately.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and reports using Excel and Word.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliation work and resolve mismatches in a timely manner.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable process.
- Compute GST and TDS deductions correctly.
- Support adherence to applicable tax regulations and accounting compliance requirements.
Skills and experience needed
- Practical accounting knowledge and familiarity with routine bookkeeping tasks.
- Experience working with GST and TDS calculations.
- Ability to carry out bank reconciliations with attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.
- Strong communication ability in English; Hindi knowledge is also relevant.
- Exposure to Tally Prime is useful for the role.
