Role overview
This opening is within the Finance team for a careful, dependable professional who can help keep daily finance activities running smoothly. The position may be based in London, Ontario, or performed remotely.
Finance and accounting operations
- Handle invoices, expenses, and journal entries with accuracy so records stay complete and current.
- Assist with accounts payable tasks such as coding invoices and preparing payments.
- Support reconciliations by organizing data and flagging mismatches for review.
- Help with month-end close work through accurate preparation of data and administrative support.
Financial administration and reporting
- Review employee expense claims to confirm they align with company policy and supporting documentation requirements.
- Keep financial files organized and maintain updated information across finance systems.
- Support the Finance team with record management, documentation, and basic reporting so information remains accessible and well maintained.
Payroll support
- Assist with payroll processing by preparing information and coordinating administrative tasks as needed.
Office and operational support
- Help keep office operations running efficiently, including supplies, vendor coordination, and everyday workplace needs.
- Provide administrative and logistical help for company events, internal activities, and other team initiatives.

You will be expected to work accurately, stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders. The role also calls for someone who can work independently, follow established processes, and adapt to both finance and office support needs.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, well-documented work.
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to handle several priorities and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Comfort using finance systems, spreadsheets, and administrative tools, along with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Good understanding of process compliance and the ability to spot issues and escalate discrepancies appropriately.
- Professional communication skills for working with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Self-directed, reliable, and able to take ownership with limited supervision.
- Flexible enough to support both finance work and wider office operations.
- Interest in continuous learning, process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled efficiency tools.
- Experience supporting finance and/or administrative functions with dependable, accurate delivery.
- Experience using financial systems, Excel, and other administrative tools.
- Experience with accounts payable, expense processing, and a working knowledge of debits and credits.
- Administrative coordination or office operations experience is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Greater value is placed on attention to detail, reliability, organization, and the ability to follow established processes than on formal qualifications alone.
