Accountant

Overview

This is a remote contract opportunity for an accountant with U.S. accounting background. The role is focused on using financial expertise to support AI training work, with an expected weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.

Compensation is set at $90 to $100 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Use experience in U.S. accounting to examine, label, and verify financial records for AI model training.
• Work in line with U.S. GAAP to maintain accuracy and business relevance in the financial content being reviewed.
• Partner with the AI team by contributing accounting knowledge and giving detailed input on accounting workflows and practices.
• Use ERP platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks to share practical insight into accounting operations and process standards.
• Help maintain data quality by reviewing training datasets, spotting gaps, and flagging inconsistencies.
• Write out accounting ideas, cases, and scenarios in a clear format that can be understood by both technical and non-technical readers.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with ERP tools, especially SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks.
• Background in financial annotation, auditing, and documenting business processes.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics to a varied audience.
