Subject Matter Expert - Economics Internship

About the Opportunity

This is a remote, part-time internship with an ed-tech company focused on making learning support more accessible at scale. The organization operates a mobile Q&A platform where learners receive help from a tutor network supported by AI technology. The internship is for economics subject-matter work, where you will help students with academic and exam-related questions.

What You’ll Do

• Solve student doubts and prepare answers for live economics questions.
• Support learners with economics questions from competitive exams, entrance tests, classwork, and other assessments.
• Handwrite solutions on plain white paper using blue or black ink, take a photo, and submit the solution through the tutor app.
• Create clear, detailed, step-by-step explanations that an average student can follow easily.
• Ensure every response is original and free from plagiarism.

Who Can Apply

Candidates must be available for a work-from-home internship, able to begin between 23 June 2026 and 28 July 2026, committed to a 3-month duration, and have relevant skills and interest in the domain. Women looking to start or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Working Conditions

You should be able to contribute at least 1–2 hours per day and be comfortable working during the 8 PM to 10 AM (IST) time window.

Requirements

• An economics degree that is either in progress or completed, or relevant teaching experience.
• Ability to devote 1–2 hours daily to student support.
• Comfort with the required nighttime working schedule in IST.

Stipend

You will receive a stipend of INR 4,000 to 5,000 per month.
