About the internship

This internship is designed for someone eager to build hands-on experience in equity research and financial markets. You will collaborate with the research team, study businesses and industries, and help shape investment insights and recommendation outputs.

What you will work on

• Review financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements to support research work.
• Assess a company’s financial condition, profitability, operating strength, and future growth prospects.
• Study sectors and industries to understand market forces, competition, new trends, and the risks involved.
• Collect, structure, and interpret financial and market data for investment analysis and decision-making.
• Assist in building research reports, valuation models, investment ideas, and thesis documents.
• Track quarterly results, company announcements, regulatory updates, and industry news for assigned businesses and sectors.
• Support the team in spotting and evaluating potential investment opportunities.

Required qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, commerce, economics, or a similar field is required.
• A certification such as NISM Series XV (Research Analyst) is preferred.
• You should have a solid grasp of stock markets and broader financial markets.
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis and interpretation is expected.
• You should understand valuation methods and key financial ratios.
• Strong analytical ability and research aptitude are important for this role.
• Accuracy, detail orientation, and a genuine interest in equity research and investment analysis are essential.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can commit to a full-time, in-office internship, are able to begin between 22 Jun 2026 and 27 Jul 2026, can stay for 3 months, and have relevant skills and interests.

Stipend and duration

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 12,000 to 15,000 and runs for 3 months. The start date is immediate.
