Video Operator – Automotive Security Content

Role overview

Gazer develops automotive security products such as immobilisers, GPS trackers, and dash cameras. The team has recently introduced P8, the newest protection system, and is now creating a full library of installation and product demonstration videos for every vehicle model supported by the product.

The position is centred on filming a repeated production process. For each car, a technician installs P8 while you record the sequence, the system functioning, and the final result. The structure of the shots remains constant from vehicle to vehicle; only the car changes.

This is a production-focused role rather than a creative one. There is no changing artistic concept for each shoot. Consistency in sequence, framing, and lighting is more important than variation.

Day-to-day work

• Prepare the bay for each vehicle by checking lighting, background, and eliminating dust, glare, and reflections.
• Follow a fixed shot plan to document the installation steps, system performance, and key action moments.
• Record short, polished clips that can be passed to editing without needing reshoots.
• Carry out simple colour correction, organise file names, and upload footage.
• Meet the daily production target agreed with the team.
• Take care of studio equipment and keep it in routine working order.

Required profile

The role calls for someone with at least 2 years of video experience, ideally in a studio or automotive environment. You should be comfortable using manual camera controls and working with studio lighting.

Success in this job depends on following a fixed template with precision and consistency. A practical, disciplined approach matters more than creative experimentation.

Basic post-production ability is needed, including simple editing in tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar software, along with basic still-image editing in Lightroom or Photoshop. You should also be reliable and comfortable working as part of a team in everyday conversational English.

Preferred background

• Experience creating product or technical content such as installations, how-it-works videos, or demonstrations.
• Exposure to automotive dealerships, service centres, or accessory brands.
• A portfolio showing repeated-format work with different subjects filmed in a consistent style.

Work setup

This position may be structured as full-time or part-time. The schedule is 5 days a week on a day shift, and the work location is on-site in Abu Dhabi.
