Overview
This role is for a UX Designer focused on developer experience and is based in Ireland. You will help shape how developers build and distribute software that reaches users worldwide. Key responsibilities
Your work will involve designing developer-facing experiences that improve usability, efficiency, and accessibility. Research, prototyping, design systems, and UX evaluation will all be important parts of the job.
Responsibilities
- Create user experiences for developer tools and workflows with a strong focus on ease of use, speed, and accessibility.
- Work side by side with product and engineering teams to define and deliver clear product interactions.
- Run user research and apply UX methods to address complex technical problems.
- Produce wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and interaction designs for developer-oriented products.
- Help improve and expand scalable design systems and established UX practices.
- Review sophisticated software using UX heuristics and suggest meaningful enhancements.
- Take part in cross-functional work that improves consistency across different products.
- Present and explain design choices to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in UX, Design, STEM, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Solid understanding of UX fundamentals, interaction design, and user-centered design approaches.
- Experience carrying out user research and turning findings into product improvements.
- Strong interest in technology, developer tools, and the design of complex software.
- Excellent communication and presentation ability, with confidence working across different disciplines.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to tackle challenging design problems.
