ಕೆಲಸದ ವಿವರ

Role Overview

The Mechanical/Electrical Technician is responsible for carrying out skilled and semi-skilled work related to installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment and instruments. The position also provides technical support to day-to-day operations.

Key Duties

Carry out installation, upkeep, repair, and servicing tasks for electrical and mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
Support operational teams with technical assistance whenever needed.
Follow safety standards consistently and coordinate with other departments as required.
Track and help maintain adequate stocks of mechanical and electrical spare parts for planned and upcoming work.

Technical Knowledge

Understanding of statutory rules, safety practices, and health requirements.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment-related issues.
Basic knowledge of how to operate equipment.
Fundamental skills in root cause analysis.

Education

A diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical certificate, is required.
