SHE Supervisor

Role overview

The SHE Supervisor position is designed to strengthen Safety, Health, and Environment programs across non-manufacturing operations in Saudi Arabia, including offices, warehouses, transport activities, and road safety. Key responsibilities

• Make sure safety, health, and environmental practices follow company policies and local legal requirements across offices, warehouses, and transportation activities.
• Keep SHE records, risk assessments, and legal compliance registers current for non-manufacturing locations.
• Assist with inspections and audits, and ensure corrective actions are followed through to closure.
• Carry out SHE risk assessments for offices, warehouses, and logistics partners.
• Put controls in place for fire protection, chemical handling, ergonomics, and occupational health in non-manufacturing settings.
• Oversee contractor and transporter compliance with SHE expectations.
• Design and execute road safety initiatives for transporters and company vehicles.
• Track driver conduct, vehicle condition, and adherence to journey management requirements.
• Drive programs aimed at reducing road incidents and improving fleet safety results.
• Conduct SHE training for office teams, warehouse staff, and transport partners.
• Run awareness activities on health, safety, and environmental topics.
• Support emergency drills and first-aid training efforts.
• Monitor SHE performance indicators for non-manufacturing operations, including incidents, near misses, and road safety measures.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and share insights that support ongoing improvement.
• Contribute to sustainability work linked to waste, energy use, and carbon reduction in offices and warehouses.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a safety supervisory position, ideally within logistics, warehousing, FMCG, or oil and gas.
• NEBOSH IGC certification and OSHA certification.
• Working knowledge of local SHE regulations and global standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder management capability.
• Proactive approach to risk management.
• Ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Genuine interest in building a safer workplace culture and supporting sustainability goals.
