Role Overview
Japan Foods Holding Ltd is hiring a Service Crew member to support day-to-day front-of-house operations in a customer-facing food and beverage environment in Central Singapore.
Key Duties
- Set up dining tables properly, including utensils/crockery and menus.
- Top up service items such as napkins, tableware, and condiments.
- Welcome guests and guide them to their tables.
- Hand out menus, explain current promotions, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations when needed.
- Take customer orders and prepare drinks and desserts.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Clear used tables after dining and send items to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Handle cashiering duties when required.
- Carry out opening and closing tasks, including drink preparation and housekeeping.
- Support other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Minimum education of GCE N-Level or ITE qualification.
- Comfortable working split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Prior F&B experience is useful but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented manner.
- Cheerful, pleasant, energetic, and able to work well in a team.
- Willing to learn and genuinely interested in service work.
- Committed to delivering consistently high service standards.
- Able to multitask and keep up in a fast-moving environment.
- Must hold a WSQ Food & Hygiene Certificate.
- Basic math ability is needed for cashiering tasks.
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
