Role overview

This role is for a backend-focused Senior Software Engineer working with Golang. You will join a compact product engineering team and help build features that improve how customers create and manage digital workflows. The environment values individual impact, sound judgment, and steady delivery of high-quality software.

You will work with technologies such as Go and AWS, contributing to innovative products and features while keeping pace with modern development practices, including the use of AI in engineering workflows.

What you will do

• Partner daily with a small cross-functional team that includes product management, design, and engineering.
• Work with product and design teams to shape ideas, define solutions, and build features across both front-end and back-end areas when needed.
• Help design and implement robust technical solutions for the platform, often taking the lead on technical direction and delivery.
• Use practices such as design workshops, pair programming, and code reviews to support collaboration and quality.
• Apply a practical development approach that balances customer value, delivery speed, and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with strongly typed programming languages, with Go or Golang preferred.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and system integrations; familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC is also relevant, though the platform is mainly REST/JSON-based.
• Practical experience with AWS, ideally in event-driven systems using services such as SQS, SNS, Lambda, ECS, or EKS.
• A flexible and pragmatic mindset, with comfort working through ambiguity and fast-moving priorities.
• Proven ability to own complex, large-scale features from breakdown to delivery, including estimation.
• A collaborative style that values strong communication, teamwork, and constructive discussion.
• Consistent delivery of high-quality work and pride in engineering output.
• Regular use of AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day work.

Bonus experience

• Exposure to workflow automation engines such as Temporal, AWS Step Functions, or AWS Workflows.
• Experience building AI agents.
• Experience with agentic workflows.
