Role overview
Infotek Consulting Inc. is seeking a Senior Data & Reporting Analyst to support Treasury & Payment Solutions Technology. The role focuses on turning complex ITSM and operational datasets into clear, decision-ready insights that improve service performance, strengthen operational stability, and support strategic choices.
This position will shape and advance enterprise reporting across Power BI, ServiceNow, and several connected data sources. The ideal candidate will be a dependable partner to technology, operations, and business teams, with a strong focus on automation, modern reporting practices, and data-led decision-making.
Assignment details
- Start date: July 2, 2026
- Contract length: 12 months
- Extension: possible
- Conversion to permanent role: possible
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Location: Hybrid in GTA, Ontario, with 2 days onsite each week
Key responsibilities
- Build Power BI dashboards that show ITSM performance, operational status, and important business measures.
- Work with ServiceNow data from Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB modules, plus infrastructure, cloud, and application sources.
- Convert operational datasets into executive-level summaries, patterns, risks, and practical recommendations.
- Carry out trend analysis to uncover recurring issues and areas for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with technology, operations, and business partners to define needs and rank reporting work.
- Create scalable reporting structures, KPI definitions, data models, and reporting guidelines.
- Maintain strong data quality, governance, integrity, and documentation across reporting assets.
- Support automation efforts that improve reporting speed and reduce manual work.
- Lead cross-functional conversations that enable informed decision-making.
- Contribute to service performance management, operational resilience, and ongoing improvement programs.
Required qualifications
- At least 5 to 7+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis.
- 5+ years of practical Power BI experience, including dashboard creation, data modeling, and DAX.
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM data, especially Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB reporting.
- Solid understanding of ITIL and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
- Proven experience building and supporting enterprise reporting solutions and KPI frameworks.
- Ability to turn data into actionable insights and executive-ready storytelling.
- Strong analytical ability to spot trends, exceptions, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and documentation skills.
- Experience in information technology environments, ideally within financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
