Role Overview

An experienced P6 Scheduler is needed for an urgent on-site assignment in Tiverton, Ontario, supporting projects at Bruce Power. The successful person will be a Primavera P6 specialist with a background in nuclear, power generation, or other large industrial environments. Because the role is time-sensitive, the selected candidate must be able to secure site access quickly and be ready to begin as soon as possible.

Work Location and Schedule

This position is based in Tiverton, Ontario, Canada and requires on-site presence. The preferred schedule is 5x8, although a 4x10 arrangement may also be considered.

Compensation and Employment Terms

This role may be offered as either full-time permanent or contract work. The salary range is stated as $1200,000 to $150,000 annually, and the contract rate is $70 to $80 per hour. Per diem is available if the candidate qualifies.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and continuously revise detailed project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Track project status, flag schedule delays or risks, and identify opportunities to improve timing and delivery.
• Partner with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to keep schedules accurate and reporting reliable.
• Prepare schedule evaluations, forecasts, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support planning and execution activities while protecting schedule integrity.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should bring solid hands-on experience with Primavera P6 in a project scheduling role. Experience on nuclear, power generation, or large industrial projects is highly desirable. Strong independence, the ability to juggle several priorities at once, and excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills are important. Eligibility to obtain, or already hold, Bruce Power site security clearance is preferred.
