Role overview
This role is centered on driving smartphone product success in Singapore through end-to-end product planning, launch execution, channel coordination, and commercial management. You will own the product lifecycle from strategy through market performance, with a strong focus on profitability, inventory health, and sustained sell-through.
Key responsibilities
- Steer smartphone product management across planning, go-to-market execution, and channel coordination for new launches.
- Carry out detailed market and competitor research to support product decisions and lifecycle management.
- Take accountability for product sales outcomes and overall market performance.
- Shape the product’s core value proposition and work with cross-functional teams on marketing and communication plans.
- Handle pricing decisions, demand forecasting, and PSI (purchase, sales, and inventory) planning to support profit targets and balanced stock levels.
- Prepare and oversee product marketing budgets so spending stays aligned with strategy and delivers strong return on investment.
- Maintain product momentum throughout the lifecycle by ensuring marketing resources are used effectively.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, International Trade, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in consumer electronics, ideally in Product Management, Product Marketing, Go-to-Market, or Sales.
- Strong familiarity with the Singapore market and its sales channels, along with a track record of successful product launches and channel management.
- Solid commercial judgment, sharp market awareness, and strong analytical ability to convert feedback into practical business actions.
- Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
