Projects Manager

Role overview

This position calls for an independently working Projects Manager to lead fit-out assignments in Saudi Arabia. The role covers end-to-end oversight of multiple projects, bringing together cross-functional teams and subcontractors to deliver work that meets client expectations, is completed safely, satisfies quality standards, stays within budget, and finishes on schedule. Relevant project exposure includes hospitality, hotels, premium residential, palaces, food and beverage, retail, entertainment, healthcare, and education.

Business development and pre-contract work

• Support the company’s business development direction in line with broader organizational goals.
• Identify and engage potential new clients and build productive relationships.
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and association gatherings, then share useful insights on market activity and creative direction.
• Oversee the tendering process from start to finish.

Project planning

• Map stakeholders and establish communication plans.
• Prepare the project management plan and overall schedule.
• Make sure all tasks and responsibilities are clearly communicated to everyone involved.
• Plan procurement activities in sync with the project timeline.
• Identify project risks and define suitable mitigation and response measures.

Project execution and control

• Define project objectives, scope, budget, schedule, performance targets, and subcontractor selection criteria.
• Coordinate with the project team to share proven practices and ensure efficient use of labour, materials, and equipment.
• Manage planning, design, estimation, contracting, and construction activities in a controlled and coordinated way.
• Keep accurate progress records throughout the life of each project.
• Oversee construction sites and manage vendors and trade partners.
• Provide regular operational updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the project.
• Lead and supervise project delivery so that all work is properly monitored and controlled.
• Build, guide, and manage the project team.
• Handle procurement in accordance with the project schedule.
• Share project information with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control are applied throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage all municipality and government approvals needed for operation and handover, aligned to the schedule.
• Review and control changes to scope and cost.
• Manage project invoicing and final account closure.
• Track and control project risks.

Profile and experience

The employer is seeking a versatile Projects Manager in KSA with strong technical, delivery, and commercial capability, along with a solid understanding of the woodworking and joinery sector, including timber, veneers, hardware, and related manufacturing standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong record of success in fit-out contracting and be comfortable working in a multinational business environment.
