Picker/Driver

About the role

This is a permanent position within the delivery team, combining van driving with picking duties to help the operation deliver a strong customer experience. Overtime may also be available. A full driving licence is required for consideration.

In this role, you will help ensure deliveries reach customers on time and in good condition, while representing the business professionally on every drop.

Key responsibilities

• Pick goods accurately using a handheld terminal and report any discrepancies to the manager.
• Check product quality, remaining shelf life, and packaging condition before dispatch.
• Work efficiently to process deliveries to target while maintaining a high level of service.
• Provide courteous, first-class customer service during deliveries.
• Handle delivery staff politely and respond appropriately to questions or complaints, escalating complex issues when needed.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload it at customer premises.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately.
