What you will do

  • Build expertise in reconciling pharmacy pricing guarantees for clients on quarterly and annual cycles.
  • Use the internal pharmacy data warehouse and reporting tools to generate both routine and ad hoc reports for the consulting team.
  • Create financial models and client-facing reports, explain what the analysis means, and suggest recommended actions.
  • Support a designated client book of business, including work tied to marketing, claims, reporting, and administration.
  • Monitor daily client issues related to pharmacy plans and help close outstanding items.
  • Maintain internal and external project timelines for renewals, RFPs, reporting cycles, and other deliverables.
  • Learn to interpret current client contract terms and pharmacy program details, identify gaps or alternatives, and update contract records in the database.
  • Assist with implementation planning and help consulting teams deliver client work products.
  • Review agreements and related documents to support best-in-class terms and provisions.
  • Keep the client CRM current with relevant account information.
  • Partner with the internal data operations team to protect and improve client data quality.
  • Take on additional duties as needed.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline, or equivalent experience in the insurance field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in insurance, especially employee welfare benefits or pharmacy data analytics.
  • Prior exposure to the Pharmacy Benefit Management industry is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong spoken and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Solid client service skills and the ability to build relationships across multiple accounts.
  • Comfort working with vendors and external partners.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Self-driven attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
