Night Porter

Role overview

De Vere Beaumont Estate is hiring a full-time Night Porter to support the hotel team in East Horsley. This is a nights-based position working from 10:30pm to 7:00am, five nights out of seven each week.

In this role, you will help keep the hotel running smoothly overnight, looking after both guests and the property. The job involves routine inspections and patrols across all areas of the building, along with taking the right action to maintain standards of cleanliness, safety, and security. You may also be asked to help prepare conference rooms and coffee stations for events.

You will usually work alongside at least one other colleague from the nights team. When weddings or other events are taking place, members of the events team may remain on site until the early hours.

Who this role may suit

This position is likely to suit someone who is comfortable working through the night, has previous hospitality or customer service experience, enjoys speaking with people, and is confident taking responsibility for guest wellbeing and hotel safety in a large property.

Pay and benefits

The hourly rate for this role is £13.39.
