Lab Technician

About the Role

Nextenti Tech is hiring a Laboratory Technician in Hyderabad for a healthcare setting. The role calls for someone with a strong eye for detail, solid lab knowledge, and the ability to deliver accurate test results on time while following strict safety and infection-control practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive patient specimens, verify them, label them correctly, and prepare them for testing.
• Carry out standard laboratory work across hematology, biochemistry, clinical pathology, microbiology, and serology.
• Run, check, calibrate, and look after laboratory analyzers and other equipment.
• Mix reagents, store them appropriately, and manage specimens carefully.
• Complete quality checks and keep laboratory documentation precise and up to date.
• Enter and communicate test findings correctly and within required turnaround times.
• Work in line with NABL/NABH expectations, lab procedures, and hospital rules.
• Follow infection prevention measures and biomedical waste handling standards.
• Monitor lab stock such as reagents and consumables, and support inventory upkeep.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure samples are processed and reported promptly.
• Keep the laboratory clean, organized, and properly maintained.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).
