Role Overview
In this Junior Copywriter position, you will help shape client brands on Amazon and other marketplace channels. You’ll support the Copy and Creative teams across a broad range of marketplace initiatives, writing SEO-focused content for customer-facing touchpoints such as product detail pages, advertising headlines, and digital storefronts. The role involves managing several projects at once, staying organized, and consistently meeting deadlines. This position is intended for candidates who can work a hybrid schedule from the Denver, Colorado office.
Key Responsibilities
- Create strategic product copy by using brand guidelines, keyword research, competitor insights, and other available inputs to develop compelling content that supports conversion.
- Edit and proofread marketplace and e-commerce copy across multiple formats while following platform requirements and established best practices.
- Refresh and optimize existing content periodically by applying campaign data, market trends, and keyword research.
- Assist senior copywriters and the wider copy team on large-scale catalog optimization work.
- Contribute to branded creative projects when needed, including ad copy, brand messaging, PDP module language, and similar assets.
- Prepare and organize product detail page materials for upload and share them with the relevant marketplace teams.
- Keep track of industry practices and look for new opportunities to strengthen marketplace performance for client brands.
- Work collaboratively wherever needed and take on additional duties as assigned.
Required Background
- At least 2 years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house setting.
- Prior experience developing brand content for commerce or e-commerce environments.
- Strong command of writing, grammar, and spelling.
- Ability to position products creatively and strategically for Amazon and similar channels.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects at once while prioritizing effectively.
- Good communication skills and solid time management.
- Highly organized, self-directed, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a performance-driven setting.
- Client-facing experience is considered an advantage.
- Experience writing for the clothing/apparel space is a plus.
- Background in brand storytelling, website copy, and social content is also a plus.
- Must be available to work on a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely from Denver.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this role is $28 to $30 per hour, with the final offer depending on skills, education, experience, and location. The stated range reflects base pay only.
