IT Infrastructure Systems Lead

Role Summary

The IT Infrastructure Systems Lead is responsible for guiding the technical direction of infrastructure support teams and ensuring reliable service delivery across key technology environments. This role covers leadership for L2 Operations, Data Center, Server, VMware, Linux and Windows platforms, Network, Firewall, Telephony, and Cybersecurity functions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or any IT-related field is required.
• Hands-on familiarity with ITIL methods, especially Incident Management, is expected.
• Applicants should bring at least 3 years of experience leading a team of five or more direct reports; leadership of non-direct reports may also be considered.
• A minimum of 5 years supporting IT infrastructure and service delivery is needed, ideally in a medium-sized organization.
• Relevant background in ITIL Foundation, Windows and Linux servers, VMware, virtualization, SAP, networking, and access/monitoring tools is preferred.
• At least 3 to 5 years of technical operations experience is required, including server hardware, virtualization, Linux, Windows, and Microsoft technologies such as IIS Administration, firewall, network, ISP, and telephony.
• Experience in cyber security and controls, IT audit, or a similar field for at least 3 years is required.
• At least 3 years of experience managing an IT infrastructure environment is needed.

• Experience working with external third-party service providers is required.
