About the Role
We are looking for an HR Data & Reporting Analyst to support people analytics reporting and dashboard operations in a remote role aligned to the EST time zone. In this position, you will help keep recurring reports accurate, timely, and consistent while assisting with compliance reporting, data validation, and ad hoc analysis requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Lead Data Analyst on the People Analytics team and provide reporting support.
- Maintain and review people analytics dashboards and recurring reporting outputs.
- Help run weekly and monthly reporting cycles, making sure data is accurate, consistent, and delivered on time.
- Support people-related compliance reporting by preparing, validating, and helping submit required data.
- Assist with analysis and insight generation for stakeholder requests.
- Use SQL to build, refine, and validate queries across HR systems and other reporting data sources.
- Support Workday reporting and data extraction tasks, including troubleshooting and basic report or configuration support where needed.
- Document metric definitions, reporting rules, and source systems, and escalate data quality issues when identified.
- Handle ad hoc analytics requests from business leaders while balancing them with ongoing reporting commitments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience is required; a master’s degree can replace part of the experience requirement depending on company policy.
- Background in analytics or reporting within People/HR, Operations, Finance, or another data-focused environment.
- Practical knowledge of SQL for pulling, combining, and checking data from relational databases.
- Experience with Workday or a comparable HRIS, including reporting, data structures, or data extraction.
- Experience maintaining BI dashboards and recurring reports with strong attention to data quality and auditability.
- Ability to use approved AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, or similar to improve efficiency, support query development, summarize findings, document logic, and streamline reporting work while protecting privacy and confidentiality.
- Comfort working with sensitive employee information and exercising discretion and sound judgment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain metrics, constraints, and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
