Key responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and support modern frontend features with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with an emphasis on speed and usability.
• Take ownership of UI features from initial design exploration and prototyping through delivery, validation, and ongoing refinement.
• Work side by side with designers to improve user journeys and keep the product’s design language consistent and high quality.
• Partner with backend engineers to connect APIs and produce smooth, data-rich product experiences.
• Turn complex information and workflows into interfaces that are straightforward, accessible, and responsive.
• Contribute to architecture conversations and help shape frontend system decisions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Frontend or Software Engineer working on web applications.
• Strong command of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with hands-on experience using React or a comparable modern frontend framework.
• Proven background in building and maintaining complex, evolving, or large-scale user interfaces.
• Sharp design judgment, with a strong focus on usability and UI/UX detail.
• Ability to work well with designers and product teams to improve the user experience.
• Solid understanding of component-based development and reusable design systems.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services into frontend applications.
• Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working independently or within small, fast-paced teams.
• Commitment to producing well-tested, maintainable, high-quality code.
• Nice-to-have experience with backend tools such as Ruby on Rails, search platforms such as Elasticsearch, or other data-heavy modern applications.
