Role Overview
Spire is hiring an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Legal Officer, and Board of Directors. This position is a key part of executive operations, with strong emphasis on board administration, global facilities support, executive governance, and coordination across teams. The role goes beyond standard administrative support and requires someone who can act as a dependable partner to senior leaders, keep priorities moving, and bring order to complex workflows in a global, fast-moving environment.
Executive and Strategic Support
- Keep the CFO and CLO’s calendars organized and handle fast-changing schedules.
- Arrange meetings and make sure leaders have the right background materials and briefings in advance.
- Serve as a point of contact between senior executives, investors, and outside stakeholders.
- Help drive execution on important cross-functional initiatives.
Board and Governance Support
- Coordinate meetings for the Board of Directors and its committees.
- Maintain board calendars, annual planning timelines, and governance schedules.
- Prepare and circulate board materials.
- Work closely with Legal, Finance, and leadership teams to ensure documents are accurate and delivered on time.
- Monitor follow-up items and help maintain board records.
Travel and Logistics
- Organize detailed domestic and international travel for executives.
- Support travel and logistical needs for board members and executive leadership when required.
Operational Support
- Process expenses and administrative work carefully and within deadlines.
- Build presentations and working materials using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Help with executive meetings, events, and office coordination as needed.
- Assist with global facilities operations, including planning and running special events.
- Treat confidential information with a high level of care and discretion.
Flexibility and Responsiveness
- Be available beyond standard working hours when board activity requires it.
- Handle additional ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has substantial experience supporting C-level executives or comparable senior leaders, preferably in consulting, banking, or legal settings. Prior exposure to Board of Directors processes and executive governance is important. You should be highly organized, able to manage several priorities at once, meticulous with details, and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, professionalism, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach are essential.
Technical Skills
Advanced capability with Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, is required. Experience using collaboration and document management platforms such as SharePoint is also valuable.
Work Model and Compliance
This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the office. Access to US export-controlled software and/or technology may be needed for the role. If so, Spire will arrange any required licenses; candidates do not need to already have them before applying.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected base salary range for this position is USD 90,000 to USD 130,500 per year. Final compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to base pay, the role may be eligible for annual equity awards and Spire’s benefits package, which includes vacation, sick time, and personal time off; optional medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage; a 401(k) plan; a health and wellness reimbursement program; and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
