Role Overview

The property is looking for a General Technician with a specialty in painting for Park Inn by Radisson Dubai Motor City. This role is focused on maintaining the hotel’s facilities to a high standard, supporting the maintenance function, and helping deliver a seamless guest experience.

The position calls for someone with the right attitude, practical ability, and a strong service mindset. Success in the role means responding quickly to issues, supporting colleagues, and helping ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well-presented.

Key Duties

• Assist the maintenance team in keeping the property operating smoothly and to the expected quality standards.
• Complete assigned tasks promptly, professionally, and with attention to detail.
• Work with teammates to improve guest comfort and satisfaction by responding positively to requests and issues.
• Help deliver the maintenance department’s goals while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge, practical skills, and job-related experience within the department.
• Support the Head of Department in managing inventory, meeting productivity goals, and maintaining performance standards.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders while reflecting the company’s values and culture.
• Follow all relevant laws, due diligence requirements, and best-practice procedures, ensuring work is documented properly for internal and external audits and any necessary follow-up is completed.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should already have experience in property maintenance and painting, and be comfortable taking a proactive, hands-on approach. The role suits someone who is passionate about hospitality and able to handle a varied workload in a demanding environment.

Strong communication and listening abilities are important, along with the confidence to solve problems creatively and make practical recommendations. The successful applicant should work well with others at all levels, remain positive and professional, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
