Electronic Technician I

What you will do

• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance on assigned electronic and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs for a range of electronic or electrical systems.
• Run functional checks to confirm equipment is ready to return to service after maintenance.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical prints related to electrical and electronic equipment.
• Work with company-specific software and hardware tools used in the role.
• Maintain strong computer literacy to support daily technical and administrative work.
• Enter, update, and preserve accurate records in the company system of record.
• Follow detailed processes and procedures under the company management system during day-to-day activities.
• Complete assigned tasks independently and support colleagues when needed.
• Perform duties in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, with attention to operational impact and cost control.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in an electrical field is required.
• Ability to understand and work from electronic and electrical schematics, drawings, and prints.
• Advanced computer skills and confidence using technical software and hardware.
• Technical certification is preferred.
