The role
Veolia ANZ is looking for HR-licensed Drivers to join the Kalgoorlie team and safely operate a range of waste collection vehicles, including Front Lift, Hook Lift, Rear Lift, Skip Lift and Liquid Heavy Ridged Trucks. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with room to grow into broader responsibilities and career progression.
The roster is Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts and overtime as required.
What the job involves
- Working on secure, long-term contracts that involve collecting waste and recyclable material.
- Moving multiple waste streams to approved disposal sites.
- Delivering strong service to both internal teams and external customers.
- Building the capability to operate different vehicles and equipment as needed.
What you need to bring
- A current HR licence.
- Clear verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Kalgoorlie and the surrounding area.
- A safety-first approach to work.
- Care and accuracy when completing paperwork.
- The ability to learn to handle a range of fleet and equipment.
- A Controlled Waste Ticket and forklift licence are highly desirable.
