Design Expert (Multidisciplinary)

About the Role

This is a contract-based remote opportunity for a multidisciplinary design specialist who can assess and improve visual and UX/UI-focused content. The work involves reviewing design interview materials and giving practical, quality-focused input that helps strengthen both usability and visual communication.

The engagement is remote and expected to range from 10 to 40 hours per week. Compensation is set between $20 and $64 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and polish design interview materials with emphasis on UX/UI and visual design quality.
• Check AI-created content for accuracy, usefulness, and alignment with current design best practices.
• Provide clear, practical suggestions to improve structure, visual balance, hierarchy, and overall user experience.
• Work with AI training teams to keep outputs in step with changing industry expectations.
• Help improve AI tools by applying design expertise to real-world use cases.
• Promote user-focused design thinking and consistency in branding across reviewed materials.

Requirements

• At least a minimum level of multidisciplinary design experience, supported by a strong portfolio.
• Good working knowledge of typography, composition, layout, and visual design fundamentals.
• Hands-on proficiency with Figma and Adobe tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD.
• Experience in wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design workflows.
• Ability to evaluate and shape branding and visual identity elements.
