About the Role

Celigo is seeking a Data Analyst to act as a core partner in driving faster, better business decisions. In this role, you will own the end-to-end insight process: turning unclear business questions into analysis plans, creating dashboards and self-service reports, and presenting findings in a way that is useful to stakeholders across the company. You will work closely with Data Engineering and other teams to analyze revenue, product, customer, and operational data, while also helping define metrics and reporting standards that can grow with the organization. The role also calls for using AI-enabled tools to reduce repetitive work and improve productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-serve analytics that help teams monitor performance with timely and reliable data.
Perform detailed analysis across revenue, product usage, customer behavior, and operational processes to uncover practical business insights.
Work alongside Analytics and Data Engineering teams to define metrics, check data accuracy, and ensure analysis is built on a dependable data foundation.
Set and document consistent metric definitions and reporting practices that can scale as the analytics function expands.
Turn vague business problems into well-defined analytical approaches and explain results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Use AI-powered tools to speed up analysis, automate recurring reporting tasks, and reduce manual effort.
Spot trends, anomalies, and opportunities proactively and surface them without waiting for a request.
Support data-informed decision-making through collaboration with teams across the business.

Skills and Experience

Strong analytical thinking with the ability to form hypotheses, challenge assumptions, and explain data stories clearly.
Advanced SQL skills, including complex querying across large datasets in a cloud data warehouse; Snowflake experience is preferred.
Experience with BI platforms such as Sigma, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools for dashboarding and reporting.
Comfort using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar solutions to accelerate analysis and automate repetitive tasks.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convert analysis into concise, action-oriented recommendations.
Self-driven mindset with the ability to operate in less-structured environments and build processes from the ground up.

Education and Background

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, ideally in a fast-paced SaaS setting.
Advanced SQL capability; Python or R experience is considered an advantage.
Practical exposure to Snowflake or a similar cloud-based data warehouse.
Proven experience creating and maintaining dashboards and reporting frameworks used by business stakeholders.
Experience working with go-to-market, finance, or product data is a strong plus.
DBT or similar data modeling experience is a bonus.

Compensation

The expected base pay for this position is $75,000 to $115,000 per year. Final starting salary will depend on skills, experience, work location, and other lawful, non-discriminatory factors. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks described in a formal employment offer.
